jenny anne bishopI'm Jenny-Anne Bishop, Chairperson for both TransForum and Unique and I live with Elen in Rhyl, North Wales.

A graduate in Industrial Chemistry, but now retired from being a sales and marketing manager in scientific instrument for 35 years, I'm able to engage in voluntary work for the Transgender and LGBT communities.

My partner Elen and I also run a community house for Trans people; and having appeared many times on various radio stations, several national and regional television programmes and in many magazine and newspaper articles, we do this work with the media to raise awareness , engender fair media treatment and proper representation for all gender diverse people.

My hobby is a life long interest in railways their operation and travelling the world in search of operating steam locomotives, listening to a diverse range of music and walking in our local area in North Wales and Snowdonia.

I am also disabled , an above knee amputee . I have changed dramatically and I plan to stay this way . I did have my original GRS surgery canceled on me . So I do understand the pain that can cause . I have a heart problem that has to be fixed first , this was fixed and cured August 2015. I then went on to have my GRS surgery at Parkside Hospital under Jame Bellringer . I do have an ongoing problem in that I developed an Rectal/Vaginal fistula . This is a bit harder to cure 2 ops so far . I had to have a Stoma bag fitted to help with personal hygiene . Its been hard but with the  support and would always say if you feel alone or need to talk . Please come down see us and realize you are not alone .
